Kasturi Adari has more than 24 years’ HR experience in Corporates and now in her role as HR lead for Global Shared Services at Anglo American. Kasturi provides practical input into people strategies that support organisations to reach their strategic objectives. She is a valued and trusted business partner who advises, coaches and guides leaders with their everyday challenges. She is a firm believer in open door policies and cross functional communication. Kasturi is a sound HR generalist, but her passion is driving a values-based organisational culture to achieve exceptional performance. Kasturi believes that organisations should foster an environment where employees are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work which drives diversity and inclusivity and ultimately creativity. |

Thembi Chagonda is the Managing Director of Global Business Solutions, as well as a leading HR consultant on B-BBEE and EE. In 2016 Thembi was appointed as an Employment Equity Commissioner. This role sees her representing business in the Employment Equity Commission. She holds a degree in Social Science, majoring in Industrial Psychology and Sociology as well all as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Labour Law. Thembi plays a key role as an advisor to several national and multinational organisations on their employment equity strategies, policy development and compliance. She is a board member of the Association of Skills Development in South Africa. She is a Trustee of Nordex and Siyakha Education Trust and a Director of Khulisani, a company that creates employment among people with disabilities. |

Khulekani Vincent Chiya is an Employment Equity Specialist. He
holds a BA Honours in Organisational Psychology and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand. He has worked in Human Resources for almost six years. He started his career in Eskom Holdings Soc Limited as a Graduate in Training 2014, got appointed as an Assistant Officer HRBP in 2016, and then was seconded to an Industrial Relations Advisor role in 2018 before moving to his current role with the City of Ekurhuleni in 2019. Khulekani's areas of expertise include Performance Management, Workplace Skills Planning, Industrial Relations, and Employment Equity and Transformation. His topics of interest in HR include attracting and retaining millennials, workplace bullying, and organisational citizenship behaviours. |

Elizabeth Dhlamini-Kumalo is chairperson of the SABPP HR Governance Committee, a pioneering structure to build HR Governance nationally. As previous chairperson of SABPP, she played a key role in the transformation of SABPP, including the adoption of the HR Voice Strategy and the development of the National HR Standards. Previously she was HR Director of Sandvik Mining and Construction. She played a key leadership and strategic business role and lead the development and implementation of new HR models that defined core and non-core business integrating transformation and human resource strategies. Elizabeth was the chairperson of the National Assembly of Women, founder member of the Women’s National Coalition. Elizabeth has a Masters Degree in Management specialising in HR. |

Mfundo Manqele has vast experience in the Human Resources environment and is currently employed as an Employment Equity Advisor at eThekwini Municipality. Mfundo is a strong advocate for transformation and the empowerment of the Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities in the workplace. He strongly believes in development and growth, unlocking potential and nurturing talent. He believes that success is based on teamwork and being a motivated team player. Mfundo has Post Graduate Diplomas in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. In 2018 eThekwini Municipality was the winner in the SABPP EEDT Gender Equity Employer Category and in 2019 the winner of the Diversity and Inclusion Award. |

Lerato Maupa is Head Human Resources: Card, Payments and Transactional, at Nedbank Ltd. She is a HR Executive, registered assessor and moderator and Agile Talent Certified Professional. Lerato holds a Master of Science in Human Resources, a Psychology Degree, a National Diploma in Human Resources Management, a Diploma in Learning and Development, and a Diploma in Information Technology. She has worked in various industries which include Logistics, Manufacturing, Mining and Banking. She spends her private time coaching young graduates and preparing them for the world of work. Lerato believes in life-long learning and self-development. She is the Chairperson of the Nedbank Woman’s Forum and a member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals. |

Xolani Mawande is registered as a Chartered HR Professional with SABPP. Xolani has also been a part-time lecturer in HR Management at the University of Johannesburg. Previously he was a Learning and Development Manager in the financial services industry. Xolani played a significant role in ensuring that HR Professionals were approved by the Minister of Justice as Ex-officio Commissioners of Oaths under the Justices of Peace and Commissioners of Oaths Act. He is a regular speaker at conferences and universities and has managed to recruit more than 2000 HR students as part of the SABPP student chapters in campuses around South Africa. He was instrumental in setting up SABPP Provincial Committees in all nine provinces. He has a master’s degree in Business Management from the University of South Africa. |

Nat Mbengwa has a diverse business, HR and management experience of more than 20 years that spans start-ups and established organizations. He spearheaded positive changes in organisations’ culture, developing motivated staff, enhancing professionalism and leading HR operations to an increased organizational effectiveness in industries ranging from telecommunications, mining, construction, financial and engineering. Nat is a highly skilled and talented facilitator. He facilitates the training of EE Committees, EE strategy development, the conducting of audits and the development of EE Plans, and the generation of AA measures. Nat holds B Admin Hons and MBL degrees, and has completed the Global Executive Development Programme. |

Jackie Mehlomakulu is the Group Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Tsebo Solutions. She has over 14 years’ experience in the CSI field and has had the opportunity to manage flagship programmes such as The Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work Day™ Initiative, Public Safety and Security Programme in partnership with SAPS and The Star Newspaper, the National Casual Day Campaign for the Edcon Group as well as Headed up the Tsebo Foundation. Her expertise includes community development, company brand exposure/marketing, events/project management (including infrastructure development), communication and stakeholder relations management. Jackie holds a Frontline Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Relations Managementd from Witwatersrand Technikon, Auckland Park Campus. |

Elizabeth Msimang is a Transformation Manager at Distell. She is multi-skilled, pro-active and hands-on HR professional with a well-balanced mix between people, business background and analytical skills to achieve strategic objectives and articulate a future vision. Elizabeth is able to inspire, motivate and lead teams to deliver a wide range of diversity, inclusion and HR Transformation initiatives using both structured and unstructured data.. She applies a practical and engaging approach to problem solving She also enjoy being part of a successful and productive team, and thrives in a highly pressurized, dynamic and challenging environment. Jan Munnik is the founder and Managing Director of EES-SIYAKHA. Jan has specialised in EE for the past 20 years and is regarded as one of the leading experts in EE transformation. He has delivered papers at many conferences on EE and related topics and consults to several leading organisations and government institutions. Jan practised as an advocate at the Bar for over 10 years. His passion for people and their fair and equitable treatment led him to specialise in Human Rights, Labour Law and Industrial Relations. He has developed groundbreaking work that includes, inter alia, Equity Pro, the most sophisticated EE Planning and Monitoring Software Tool on the market, and an EE Best Practice Framework Model that has been embraced by clients in implementing EE transformation effectively. |

Zogan Opperman is HR Director for Tsebo Cleaning, Hygiene and Pest Control. For more than 20 years, Zogan has worked in Human Capital Management, Training and Development and Consulting environments. He has designed and delivered strategic initiatives related to Performance Management, Talent Management, Leadership Development, 360 Behavioural Feedback and Coaching. Zogan started his career in Education within the public sector. He moved into consulting when he joined PeopleTree Group in 2001. In 2010 Zogan was awarded the IPM HR Practitioner of the Year Runner-Up award. In 2011 the World HRD Congress awarded Zogan the Global Talent Excellence Award. Zogan is also an international Belbin accredited trainer. |

Marius Pretorius is the MD of TDCI Training and Development, and has more than 25 years’ experience as a people and organisational change agent. He is a registered Industrial and Organisational Psychologist and completed a PHD in Consulting Psychology at UNISA. His doctorate thesis was on The Workplace Diversity (r)evolution: Adaptive intelligence for an emergent age. Marius has extensive experience in the fields of individual and organisational excellence, strategic diversity management and organisation wellness and engagement. He has been a driving force behind the creation of events such as The Power of Difference, several Diversity Indabas, the Annual EEDT Summit, the Robben Island Diversity Experience, and the Disability Equity and Talent Management Blueprint Conferences. |
