The EEDT Summit Terms and Conditions

Discounted fees available:

Organisations and delegates are not entitled to multiple discounts and, in the event of more than one discount being applicable, must choose which discount they want to be applied.

  • Group registration of four or more delegates from the same company can be eligible for a
    R1 000.00 discount per delegate.
  • We can offer a 20% discount for Cape Town and Durban delegates.

The Summit Registration Fee includes:

  • All tea, coffee and refreshments as well as lunches indicated on the programme.
  • The EEDT Summit conference pack.

Please note that the registration fee does NOT INCLUDE accommodation, airfare or transfers..

Terms and Conditions of Registration:

  • Incomplete registrations will not be processed.
  • Registrations will not be finalised until payment is received in full.
  • All cancellations and/or changes to registration must be made in writing and sent by email or fax to the summit organisers.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

No administration or cancellation fee will apply if cancellations are made before 6 April 2018. Cancellations after this date, but made on or before 26 April 2018, will forfeit 50% of the total registration fee payable. Cancellations made on or  after 27 April 2018 will not be refunded. Only cancellations made in writing and addressed for the attention of the summit organiser will be recognized by summit organisers. Refunds will be processed within a month after receipt of the letter of cancellation.

Please Note:  There is no refund of registration in the case of no-shows. Delegate substitutions are welcome at any time. For further questions, please contact the summit organisers.

Disclaimer:
Please note that circumstances beyond the control of the summit organisers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and or topics. The summit organisers reserve the right to alter, add or subtract from the content and to change the speakers or topics if required. Every effort will be made to provide a programme of equivalent standard and value.

If for any reason outside the control of the summit organisers, the event is cancelled due to an act of terrorism, extreme weather conditions or industrial action,  the summit organisers shall reschedule and inform delegates accordingly. The client hereby indemnifies and holds the summit organisers harmless from any costs, damages, and expenses including attorney fees, which are incurred by the client.

The summit organisers do not accept responsibility for damage and/or loss of any kind which may be incurred by conference attendees or any persons accompanying them. Speakers' comments during the conference are in no way binding on the summit organisers.

SABPP EE and Diversity and Inclusion Management (EEDIM) Certificate and CPD Points

Delegates will earn CPD points for their attendance of each of the three Summit events. They will receive points as below:
SABPP EEDT Awards Dinner: 3 Points
EEDT Conference: 7 Points
EEDT Workshop Day 1: 7 Points
EEDT Workshop Day 2: 7 Points.

In principle, all delegates, including SABPP non-members, qualify for points. Members can log their respective points per day on their SABPP membership portal. Non-members will receive electronic CPD certificates upon request. If non-members are affiliated to other professional bodies, they will capture or submit details of the summit to their respective affiliated bodies as per the point allocations above.

Also, upon successful completion of the two-day workshop, delegates will, apart from CPD points, receive a SABPP EEDIM Facilitators’ Certificate.
